“I don’t know, you tell me how this day goes when you’re done taking pictures.” Julian raised his eyebrows at me.
I didn’t know what to say to him. He knew his friend better than I did, but seeing the way he was, I knew that Derek wasn’t falling for me. There was no reason to when he could date as many women as he wanted to.
“That’s not the case and I will tell you why. I went to the bathroom last night to freshen up and I wasn’t gone too long. He was already getting a number from some red-haired woman and he didn’t know that I was watching him. I’m not going to take him seriously and we shouldn’t take each other seriously; we are here to have fun. That’s it. We are here to get to know each other.” I told him the cold facts.
"You don't know him because, even though you turned him down last night, he went to his own bed; if he wanted a woman in his bed last night, he would've had one," Julian told me, and he wasn't smiling.
Again, Julian knew his friend better than I did and I wasn’t going to argue the point with him. There was no way that I could.
I would see where the day was headed but I wasn’t going to put pressure on Derek and I didn’t want any pressure put on myself. That wasn’t going to happen.
Chapter 9
When I was headed for Lindsay and Julian’s door, I saw Jasmine coming out of her room. I was glad that I didn’t have to knock on their door to get her.
“You look good. I like the way you’re dressed.” She nodded her head.
I was in a white cotton shirt and jean pants and I had my sunglasses on my face. I smiled at her as she looked at the white shoes that were on my feet.
She had her hair up in a bun, her white tank top was tight against her tits and she wore a pair of cut-off jeans. I could see that her legs were long and nicely tanned. I couldn’t see them the night before or at the wedding, but if I had a camera I would’ve taken some pictures of her legs and kept them to put on my wall.
I shook my head to remove those thoughts and tried to focus on Jasmine as we entered the elevator.
“I’m sorry about last night. I shouldn’t have thought that you would sleep with me after the first date,” I apologized, rubbing the back of my neck.
I didn’t even know why I was apologizing to her; there was no need to.
“You’re good, don’t worry about it. Maybe someday I will give in to you, but I don’t know,” she teased me.
I laughed at her; it felt good to have her tease me. To show me that she wasn’t going to be easy to get and if she was, then she wouldn’t be worth it.
We went down to the beach and I took my shoes off. I watched as she did the same thing and we walked out to the dark sand. The wet sand got stuck between our toes…it felt good to be here.
Sitting our shoes on the rock that we had in our sights, I went down to the water and looked out with my sunglasses on.
I didn’t see her take her camera out. I wasn’t posing, I was just looking out at the islands across the beach, which looked like a little ant farm from where we were standing.
I didn’t want to mess up her shoot, so I stayed where I was.
The wind was blowing through my hair and I remembered that the wedding that had taken place was now in the past. It wasn’t even twenty-four hours ago that the wedding happened, and now it felt like it was a memory of forever ago.
I walked the beach line with my head down, watching my feet sink into the sand. Leaving the footprints that the water was going to wash away when it came up again.
I looked behind me and saw that my prints were already fading. That it didn’t look as if anyone had walked the beach. There was no sign that I had been there not thirty seconds ago, and not now.
I looked up and saw that Jasmine was headed towards me. She had a smile on her face. I put the best one that I could manage on mine. I didn’t want her thinking that there was anything wrong.
“The pictures are going to come out great!” she shouted, throwing her arms around me, and I held her in my arms before I brought her down to the sand.
"You think so?" I laughed at her, groaning just a little when I felt her lips lightly brush against my neck.
"Front page of the magazine. I will know more tomorrow after I send these to my boss. He's going to love it, I'm telling you its real life and you didn't even act like you were being photographed. It was great. The way you had your head down, the way the wind was blowing through your hair. Even the sunglasses were perfect." I laughed at him, letting him go so that I could stand on my own two feet.
“You really love this work, don’t you?” I asked her.
I hadn’t seen her this happy, even when she had beat me at pool; it wasn’t the same.
“I do. It’s not work to me. I can capture real life without anyone knowing about it if I choose to. But I like to let people know that I’m taking their picture in case they don’t want me to.” She shrugged, letting the camera dangle around her neck.
“Have there ever been people who didn’t want their pictures taken?” I couldn’t think of a person who would want to say no to her.
“I’ve never been rejected because it’s always been friends or family that I have taken pictures of.” She shrugged her shoulders; she wasn’t smiling, though.
“You scared that someone is going to reject you?” I asked, seeing that she was being serious.
“I don’t know, maybe. I mean, who would say yes to a stranger taking their picture not knowing what it’s for? I mean I would explain who I work for, but they wouldn’t believe me. I mean, I work for the biggest magazine company in New York.” She grinned.
The excitement had fallen from her voice, though. The grin she had given me, I knew it wasn’t real. I could read people like a book.
"I don't think that anyone would reject you, and if they did they would be stupid," I told her, giving her the best smile that I could.
She turned to me. I knew that she couldn’t see my eyes and I was glad that she couldn’t. She didn’t take the time to read my facial expressions. I was sure that she thought I was full of shit, and that was okay. She didn’t have to believe me, but what I had said was true. It wasn’t just a line to see if she would fall for it.
Chapter 10
It was a weird feeling that I got from him. I couldn’t tell if he was having me on or if he was being serious. His voice sounded serious, but when it came from a man like Derek, he could lie through his teeth and no one would know if he was lying. I couldn’t tell if he was.
I turned away from him before I made myself look like a fool. I was going back to the rock to get my shoes, and before I even got one step in the right direction I felt him take my hand and pull me back.
He lifted his sunglasses when he turned me towards him and it felt good to feel his rough lips on my soft lips this morning; it was the best feeling in the world and he didn’t have a drink. Not one drink, so I knew that it wasn’t because he had been drinking.
He made my heart flutter, but I had to remind myself that this was nothing. We were just having a good time, we were two adults that were single, and it was okay to have fun. We knew where we stood with each other. If we wanted something real, one of us would say something, and I wasn’t going to be the one to say it.
He brought one of his hands to my hips. The other hand reached my tit and he could feel my hard nipple when he touched me.
I pressed my tit against his hand, through the tank top; he knew that I was turned on. There was no doubt that I was turned on by him.
The more he touched me, the harder I kissed him. I kissed him until I couldn’t breathe anymore, and then I pulled my lips away from his.
His eyes told me that he was surprised that I was the one who broke the kiss. I laughed at him and shook my head.
“What?” he asked, and there was a confused look on his face. I was the one who had put it there.
“I forgot to breathe.” I laughed at him, pushing him further away from me and running up to the rock this time.
&nbs
p; I looked over my shoulder and could see that he was running after me. I was laughing so hard that he had caught up to me and passed me to be the winner at the rock.
He threw his hands up over his head and laughed. Dancing around the rock to throw in my face that he’d been the winner. That he was the fastest one.
I was having so much fun that I didn’t want the day to end. I didn’t want the week to end, but soon it would, and we would go back to where we came from. That’s when the sadness sank in; he probably wouldn’t even remember me.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Letting it out, I put the smile back on my face and showed him that everything was alright. There was no way that I was going to go up to him, at least not close enough for him to see that I was sad. I could be read like an open book and that was one of my flaws.
“Let me see the pictures that you took of me.” He looked at the camera.
“You want to see them?” I asked, surprised that he would be interested in seeing them.
“I don’t want to see them when they’re on the front of a magazine. I don’t want to wait like everyone else.” He grinned, leaning against the rock while I took the camera from around my neck.
There was a couple that was walking towards us. They were holding hands and talking about something. The woman had laughed at him. I didn’t know what he had said, but I could see the glow on her face.
"Hey," Derek called out to the couple and they looked over at us.
“Yeah?” The man stopped, wondering what he wanted.
“Would you do me a favor and take a picture of us?” Derek asked, taking the camera from me before I could object to the idea.
“Sure.” The man smiled at him, taking the camera.
Derek brought me closer to him by the rock. He put his arm around my shoulders and I put an arm around his waist.
We smiled for the camera, pretending that we were a couple. Pretending for the camera that this was going to last forever.
The man took a few poses of us. I laughed, knowing that I would have memories to look back on when I went back to New York.
"Thanks, man, I really appreciate it." Derek shook his hand.
“You’re welcome, how long have you two been together?” the man asked, looking at Derek and then me.
"We aren't together, we are just friends," Derek answered without thinking about it.
“The way you looked through the lens, you would’ve had anyone fooled. The two of you look great together,” the man stated before him and his girl walked away from us.
“Huh, imagine that.” Derek chuckled, looking through the photos before giving me the camera back.
“What?” I asked him, hoping that he was going to say something about what the man had said about us.
“You do take good pictures.” He kissed the side of my head and looped the camera back around my neck.
It was fun and games. That was all it was and that’s what I had to keep reminding myself. There was nothing there. Maybe a friendship before we left, but that was it.
Friends would be better than nothing. I had seen friends who turned into lovers and tried relationships, just to break up and never speak to each other again, and that was the saddest love story that there could ever be.
Chapter 11
We stayed out until the sun went down, watching the sunset on the beach. I never thought that I would find it so interesting. I never took the time to look at the sunset, never took the time to look at the sun as it hit the clouds, making them pink and seeing the blue with it.
“Are you ready to go back to the hotel?” I asked her, seeing that we were the only two there on the beach now.
We watched people come and go. We watched crowds and couples, some that were single with their dogs, and we came up with stories for each of them.
They were memories that were going to be there forever.
“I’m not ready.” She laughed, lying on her back.
I laid down beside her, and we were looking at the clouds and trying to make shapes out of them; it wasn’t as boring as I thought it would be.
As the stars started coming out, we began to count them. I lost count at thirty when I realized that there were so many more than I could keep track of.
I propped myself up on my elbow and looked down at her.
Putting my hand on her stomach and rubbing it with my soft hands, I saw that she was staring at me.
She was beautiful the way she laid there, looking innocent when I knew that she wasn’t.
Jasmine brought her hand up around my neck and I felt the warmth of her hand. Closing my eyes halfway, I brought my head down and felt our lips touch. It was almost like magic. I was sure that she felt it too.
I brought my hand down to her shorts, unbuttoning them, and she slid out of them without taking her mouth off mine.
I brought her tank top over her tits and looked down at them. Her nipples were hard; she had been turned on for a while, and I felt my cock getting hard in my shorts.
“Do you want to do it right here?” She giggled against my mouth.
“No one is going to be out here. I don’t think that you have to worry about that.” I moaned, kissing her harder.
She whimpered against my mouth as I took my shorts off. I saw that she was spreading her legs for me. I wanted to get between them, it was what I had been aching to do. She had pushed me away twice and I knew that she wasn’t going to do it now.
Getting on top of her, she spread her legs further apart for me so that I could get between them with ease.
I brought my mouth off hers and kissed her hard nipples; pressing her tits together, I began to nibble on them as I pushed my cock inside of her slowly.
“You feel so good,” she whispered against my ear.
I grinned, knowing that she would like it once it was inside of her when she had decided to give me a chance; she was going to like it, just like all the women had before her.
"I didn't think that you'd be this wet, though," I told her through clenched teeth and looked up at her.
She arched her back for me; her eyes were closed but there was a smile on her face and there was nothing more that I wanted right that second than to know that she was happy with what I was bringing to the table.
"Roll over," I whispered, sliding out of her and getting on my knees.
She laughed, looking from side to side to make sure that no one was there and that no one was walking their dog late at night.
Jasmine rolled over and got on her hands and knees. She knew what I wanted. I spanked her ass cheeks with one hand before I got behind her completely.
Gripping her hips tightly in my hands, I brought the head of my cock to the back of her pussy and began to thrust harder and deeper than what I thought was possible.
I brought one of my hands off her hips and pulled at her hair playfully, and when she didn’t complain about it, I tugged on it a little harder; hearing her moan my name was like music to my ears.
I slammed into her so hard that I could feel her ass cheeks jiggling for me.
The harder I fucked her, the more sweat came to my body, but I was loving every second of it.
I knew that she couldn't have been with too many men. She was tight, and I wondered just how long it had been for her, but I wasn't going to ask her, not now and not later. That was something that a gentleman wouldn't ask. I wasn't one, but that didn't mean I didn't have morals about myself.
Knowing how long I could hold out for, I wanted her to cum for me. I wanted to feel her juices flowing over my cock and drowning me in her pussy juices. I had to feel it.
"Are you close? Are you going to cum for me, Jasmine? I want to feel your wetness. I need to feel it." I gasped, closing my eyes tightly, praying that I wasn't going to cum before her.
I didn’t want to explode until I was sure that she had gotten off for me. It was something I prided myself on, and there was no way that she could go back and tell anyone that I was a cheap fuck. I didn’t think she
was. I was just glad that she was finally letting me have her.
“Almost. I’m almost there, keep fucking me harder!” she shouted at me.
If she was worried about anyone walking by, the fear had already left her when she realized that she was feeling too damn good to worry about anyone else.
Chapter 12
I didn’t know what had come over me; maybe it was the way he had spent the time with me or maybe I was just giving into what my body wanted.
Hearing his voice, asking me if I was getting ready to cum for him, was something that I thought I’d never hear come out of his mouth.
Derek was not like all the other men; they didn’t care about the woman getting off most of the time, it was about them and their needs and wants. It wasn’t something that I was used to hearing.
“I’m almost there, fuck me harder!” I screamed louder this time.
I didn’t care who heard me. I was having sex on the beach, and I had never had sex on the beach in my life. There was a first time for everything and I only had one life to live, so I was going to make it good.
Feeling his cock starting to cum, I knew that he wasn’t going to hold out forever. I knew that he couldn’t.
The second I felt a little of his thick cum inside of me, warming my pussy, I decided that it was time.
“Harder, please, harder!” I hollered at him.
He gripped my hips tighter. I felt my tits bouncing around uncontrollably. I knew that if I looked down they were going to hit me in the face and that was the last thing I wanted!
I stared up at the sky. The stars were shining brightly, the moon was out, and if it had been with anyone else it would’ve been romantic. I kept a clear mind and knew that it wasn’t going to be like this come next week.
“Crap, you feel so good, I love burying my hard cock inside your pussy.” He grunted, slamming into me again and again.
He was filling my pussy with his hot juices. The next time that we had sex I was going to show him what I could do. I was going to show him that I could please him just as much as he was pleasing me right now.
